Riffat Tanveer

Dr Riffat Tanveer is a consultant neurologist at Lancashire Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust with specialist interest in MS and neuro-inflammatory disorders. After graduation in medicine in 2006, he completed my MSc (with distinction) and PhD in neuroscience at University of Dublin/ Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience where he investigated into the role of NOTCH signalling in neuro-inflammation and neuro-degeneration in Alzheimer’s disease. Following that he completed his neurology specialist training in the North-West of England before being appointed as a consultant neurologist in Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust where he established the regional MS fast track clinic.
