Abhijit Das is a Consultant Neurologist at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where he leads the Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) service, and an Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Central Lancashire. His research interest involves application of clinical hypnosis, immersive virtual reality (VR), and neuromodulation in FND management, drawing on more than two decades of experience in clinical neurology and neuroengineering research. 

Dr. Das is a member of the FND and Neuropsychiatry Advisory Group of the Association of British Neurologists (ABN), a Council Member of the Hypnosis and Psychosomatic Section of the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) and serves as Specialty Advisor to the British Society of Clinical & Academic Hypnosis (BSCAH), Scientific subcommittee, British & Irish Association of Stroke Physicians (BIASP). He holds multiple international patents in neuroengineering and has contributed extensively to peer-reviewed literature. His research activities have attracted multiple awards and grants.
